A Pleasant Start to the weekend!

Yesterday in class we jumped right in to generating ideas for fiction. We each brought a book with a blurb to the circle and used the blurbs to come up with ideas for fiction stories. At the end of the session each student had generated 5-7 ideas.

It was such a pleasant moment though; everyone sitting in a circle, sharing books, and thinkig of writing. I felt that we are really beginning to establish our community as readers and writers and it was quite humbling.
